About SISIP FS

Our Mission

"We are committed to enhancing the financial well-being of the Canadian Forces community through tailored and unbiased financial solutions; thereby contributing to operational readiness and effectiveness."

Serving two generations of Canadian Forces members

Since its inception in 1969, SISIP FS has been the Canadian Forces (CF) delivery arm of financial products and services. All of our programs are delivered in a non-public property framework, on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and through Director General Personnel and Family Support Services. As an integral part of the Department of National Defence for the past forty years, it has a clear mandate to deliver sound financial solutions to the Canadian Forces (CF) community…SISIP FS has always understood that careers in the CF have very unique requirements and needs, and that is why our financial products and services provide solutions tailored to the unique military lifestyle. Indeed, in the words of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Walter J. Natynczyk, an active participant at the ceremony celebrating the 40th Anniversary of SISIP FS held December 6 at NDHQ, “two whole generations of CF members” have now benefitted from their services and support.

Personal Financial Management Education Program

Some 9,400 recruits and officer cadets, along with junior and senior non-commissioned members participated in the various personal finance courses offered through formal CF training programs (Basic Military Qualifications, Primary Leadership Qualifications, and Intermediate Leadership Qualifications.)

CFPAF provides financial assistance to CF personnel and their families.
